Welcome to the Dining Room Table

This is the dining room table where I create my artwork. The everyday place where I create everyday art.I have been doing arts and crafts since I was a child. I taught myself to sew, macrame, crochet, and to decoupage. I love all kinds of art like: ATC's, twinchies, inchies, thrinchies, tag art, dotee dolls, art dolls, paper dolls, altered books, handmade books, shrines, altered tins, altered matchboxes, altered bottles, altered rolodex cards, domino art, journaling of all kinds, collage and mixed media. ~Binder Card Tutorial~
BTC’s or Binder Trading Cards are related to ATC's and made pretty much the same way. Below are generic instructions on how to create you own BTC's.

Supplies:
1 ¾ x 3 ½ inch foundation
(I use chipboard)
Images, Scrapbook paper, paint, ink, glitter
Liquid pearl paint etc
Ribbon, flowers, rhinestones etc for embellishment
Glue, scissors, ruler, Crop-a-dile or hole punch
Metal rings, or other type of holder for cards

Cut foundation to 1 ¾ x 3 ½ inch size – lots of

options for the foundation.  Use chipboard, layers of scrapbook

paper, thin card board etc.

Add a background.  Can be scrapbook paper or paint, ink etc. Add layers of images and embellishments to your liking.  I like adding brown ink to the images for a vintage look.

 Once dry,

you can use Crop-a-dile to make hole in upper

left hand corner for binding.

Normally, binder cards are kept on a metal ring.

But I have used ribbon also.

GET CREATIVE and HAVE FUN!!!

ATC Jacket
Tutorial

This tutorial is a very generic one, it is meant to get you going! Use your own creativity to may your own unique ATC with Jacket!!

Supplies:
*Scrapbook papers - one or two sided/thin is better.
* Made ATC
*Other misc papers for adding to Jacket
* General supplies - scissors, ruler, etc
*any other supplies you feel you would use!

First begin by cutting you scrapbook paper to 8x8 inches. This is an approx measurement, you can for sure play with it.  Place your ATC in the middle of the paper.

Fold top and bottom, and both sides around the ATC. You may want to leave a bit of room on the sides depending on your ATC.

Now cut off the corners, you can play with this too. This is the general jacket . Now you can add to your jacket.  (inside if you only used one sided scrapbook paper)  I also cut the corners so that the ATC will show a bit.  I added ribbon etc.
Now go HAVE FUN!!!!
